The Athens & Epidaurus festival commissioned PILA to refit an industrial space in the center of Athens to house their new headquarters. 

The brief included open plan workstations as well as private offices and meeting rooms. 

The design intention is to create a theatrical experience in the space inspired by the activities of the festival. 

A curved bleacher serves as seating and informal workspace when hosting public events such as talks and press conferences. A flexible display wall allows users to curate content and display the history of the organization to its visitors. 

The design preserved the sense of scale of the industrial space by separating spaces with glass partitions that fit within the structural grid of the building.
